Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in HVAC, refrigeration, thermal systems, or product development engineering.
• Experience supporting laboratory testing, product validation, and qualification programs.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting engineering data.

Responsibilities

• Execute product validation and qualification test plans.
• Support laboratory testing of chillers, CRAHs, custom AHUs, and related cooling systems.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret engineering test data and provide recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and summarize test results for stakeholders.
• Support AHRI, UL, CSA, and customer qualification programs.
• Coordinate testing activities with external laboratories and suppliers.
• Support product development activities from concept through production release.
• Assist with component evaluation and product improvements based on performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Support prototype, PoC, and pre-production builds.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.
• Support ECRs and ECOs.
• Work with manufacturing teams during new product introductions and launches.
• Support production in resolving product-related technical issues.
• Investigate design, manufacturing, and field issues and support root cause analysis.
