Action Air Systems in Manchester, CT, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through completion. You will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites, coordinate with leadership and field teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in project management within HVAC/construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. A college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related project management experience.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and construction processes.
• Strong math skills (algebra, geometry, material calculations, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day project operations across multiple job sites.
• Coordinate with leadership, estimators, and construction managers.
• Develop project plans, timelines, staffing strategies, and resource allocation.
• Oversee teams, including 1–2 supervisors and their crews.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful delivery.
• Communicate daily schedules and updates with field and office teams.
• Prepare reports for management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with general contractors and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Oversee coordination of Sheet Metal, Plumbing, and Piping work on-site.
