Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead HVAC & plumbing contracts for commercial clients in the Washington, DC area. You will analyze systems, oversee design-build aspects, manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires at least 10 years in mechanical engineering or PM, a strong HVAC background, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required).
• At least 10 years of mechanical engineering/project management experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems; familiarity with HVAC design and installation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and track monthly forecasts and budgets for all projects.
• Ensure contract compliance with requirements and financial goals.
• Oversee project operations, schedule, cost control, and vendor invoices.
• Provide direction to staff and delegate major project tasks.
• Coordinate purchases, materials, and subcontractor orders.
• Maintain records and ensure timely project documentation.
