Job summary

Cushing Terrell in Helena, MT is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC and plumbing systems from conception to construction, with 3D Revit modeling and production of ductwork and piping. You’ll collaborate with architects and engineers to develop quality construction documents for complex projects.

Qualifications include a Mechanical Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, PE license or ability to obtain, and proficiency in Autodesk MEP Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Outlook and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of job related experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain by comity.

Responsibilities

• Work with Architects and Engineers to create quality construction documents.
• Develop initial concepts with or without collaboration of other engineers.
• Consult with client to determine needs and designs systems to meet budgets.
• Conduct site assessments and analyses to produce reports and recommendations for HVAC/plumbing systems.
• Prepare preliminary budget and/or cost estimate for projects.
• Represent Cushing Terrell in project meetings and strategy discussions.
• Prepare scale drawings and contract documents for clients and contractors.
• Conduct on-site observation during construction to monitor plan compliance and submittals.
