Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks in integrated design.
• Experience in the A/E industry for chemicals, heavy industrial, and manufacturing.
• Ability to travel and spend time onsite with customers.
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design for mechanical and process systems ranging from simple to complex.
• Coordinate with design team members across mechanical/process and other disciplines.
• Develop design solutions for mechanical utilities: chilled water, cooling towers, steam, air, gas, and water.
• Validate design via HVAC load calculations and pressure drops.
• Support work delivered from multiple office locations.
• Direct project workflow of engineers, designers and drafters to completion.
• Interact and collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Manage scope changes and risks, with contingency plans with PMs and Discipline Manager.
• Participate in construction services: field verification, site observations, RFIs, submittal reviews.
