Job summary

Grimm Co. is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic in Florida to provide advanced technical expertise, diagnose complex issues, and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. You will install, maintain, service, and repair environmental-control systems, leveraging refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and layout knowledge.

EPA 608 and supervisory experience are required. The role emphasizes safety, detailed documentation, and coordination with subcontractors and internal teams to uphold

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in HVAC maintenance preferred.
• 1-3 years commercial experience preferred.
• Ability to implement and monitor safety programs.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics relevant to HVAC craft.
• EPA 608 refrigerant certification required.
• NATE or ESCO HVAC certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units, controls and packaging units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and evaluate equipment for needed repairs.
• Install and service refrigeration and air conditioning systems and associated electrical/pneumatic controls.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure scope of work and safety compliance.
• Record maintenance activities and support safety and quality programs.
