Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation is seeking a Master HVAC Mechanic to oversee HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs on-site in Virginia. You will lead a team of technicians, manage projects, and ensure safety and code compliance across DOS standards.

Secret Clearance required.
5 years of experience.
High school diploma required.
Must possess valid Master HVAC License.
Demonstrated expertise in HVAC codes, best practices, and team leadership.
Must possess a valid Master Electrician License.
Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and system operations.

Responsibilities

HVAC Project Management: Lead HVAC installation and maintenance projects.
Supervise HVAC technicians and schedule work to maximize efficiency.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, DOS standards, and contract requirements.
Inspect, test, and document HVAC work and performance.
Enforce safety protocols and procedures in all HVAC operations.
Work in office, mechanical rooms, and field environments; may require out-of-hours work for urgent HVAC issues.
