Job summary

DuPont is seeking an experienced HVAC Senior Maintenance Planner to support maintenance and reliability at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware. This role develops comprehensive maintenance work packages, defines scope, and ensures safe, compliant execution while coordinating with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of steam, chilled water, HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Ability to translate repair procedures into SAP task lists or Work Orders.
• Ability to interpret drawings, manuals, and vendor literature to create quality work order structure.
• Proficiency in Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete maintenance work packages including task sequences, labor requirements, materials, tools, permits, and safety requirements.
• Conduct field assessments and technical reviews to define and validate work scope and execution readiness.
• Apply professional judgment to determine planning strategy and level of detail for maintenance activities.
• Ensure planned work complies with site safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Define material, equipment, contractor, and service requirements for successful execution.
• Improve maintenance master data, job plans, and equipment records within SAP.
• Analyze planning performance and improve maintenance effectiveness and reliability.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders to improve planning quality and outcomes.
• Create and maintain standardized job plans and capture feedback in SAP to improve future planning.
