The Valcap Group in Arlington, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified) to oversee day‑to‑day maintenance operations and supervise a skilled team. You will ensure work orders are completed promptly and professionally and mentor staff to elevate performance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC systems, leading general repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry), managing inventories, and guiding preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• 3–5 years of multifamily property maintenance experience, lead/supervisory role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Reliable, customer service‑focused.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring timely and professional completion of work orders.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and guide team members on best practices.
• Perform and delegate general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and preventative maintenance.
• Lead unit inspections, make-ready turnovers, and ensure curb appeal standards are met.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain tools and equipment in proper condition.
• Train, mentor, and support maintenance staff to promote skill development and efficiency.
• Participate in and supervise the on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
