Job summary

Trueline Talent seeks a Lead HVAC Technician / Lead Installer for the Cambridge area. You will lead residential and light-commercial HVAC installations, own jobs in the field, and mentor a team of four technicians while remaining hands-on.

You’ll diagnose complex issues and coordinate project completion with homeowners and customers. Local, family-owned culture with long-tenured staff; $50-$70/hour plus benefits and a company vehicle, with potential growth into estimating or department

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on HVAC experience
• Experience as Lead Technician, Lead Installer, Foreman, or senior field resource
• Ability to independently run HVAC jobs
• Strong installation background with diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Broad residential HVAC experience across various system types
• Willingness to stay hands-on in the field
• Mentoring or training experience for other HVAC professionals
• Ability to work without constant supervision on complex problems
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience coordinating multiple technicians or installers
• Occasional >40 hour weeks when needed

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and light-commercial HVAC installations from start to finish
• Own jobs in the field and coordinate work to ensure correct completion
• Diagnose and resolve difficult service and system-performance issues
• Work with heat pumps, mini-splits, rooftops, boilers, and other equipment
• Serve as a senior technical resource for ~4 technicians
• Coach and mentor less experienced technicians
• Balance installation duties with diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
• Maintain high workmanship and customer service standards
• As the department grows, take on estimating or project oversight responsibilities
• Position offers long-term growth toward HVAC management
