Central Cooling & Heating in Woburn, MA is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to join a team that values clean, quality installations and customer care. You will install residential HVAC equipment, run complete system changes, and ensure startups meet spec and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of installation experience, hands-on system experience, EPA 608 (preferred/required for some roles), and the ability to work independently or with a crew. Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience installing HVAC equipment and complete systems.
• EPA 608 certification preferred or required depending on role.
• Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail.
• Experience brazing, pressure testing, vacuuming, and charging systems.
• Boilers, gas piping, low voltage wiring, starting up systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC systems, air handlers, and condensers.
• Complete system change-outs, replacements, and new installations.
• Run line sets, condensate lines, venting, drains, and low-voltage wiring.
• Perform brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, charging, and system start-up.
• Install and modify ductwork as needed.
• Read installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Test completed systems to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Communicate with homeowners and keep the work area clean and professional.
• Maintain tools, materials, and company vehicle.
• Follow all safety procedures, codes, and manufacturer requirements.

Job Duties

• Install residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC systems, air handlers, and condensers

• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and outdoor environments
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
