Job summary

Coolray Heating and Cooling in Nashville is seeking an HVAC Lead Installer to educate customers on options, remove and replace equipment, and install add-ons when needed with high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years as a Lead Installer, 5+ years in HVAC refrigeration work, EPA Type II certification, and strong customer service. Expect a dynamic, collaborative team and ongoing training in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as Lead Installer
• 5+ years experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC components
• Type II EPA Certification
• Customer-focused with a drive to exceed expectations
• Basic hand tools and safety equipment are required
• Knowledge of testing equipment: gauges, manifolds, magnahelic, CO detectors, psychrometers, micron gauges
• Knowledge of city codes and safe work practices
• Ability to crawl, climb, and work in tight spaces and on roofs

Responsibilities

• Install/replace HVAC equipment including ductwork and rooftop units
• Maintain company vehicle and stock levels
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules
• Design duct systems for comfort and efficiency
• Discuss homeowner needs to identify accessory sales or replacement opportunities
• Process job-site paperwork and payments
• Participate in customer service and tech training
• Mentor apprentices and entry-level installers
