Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Journeyman in Indianapolis, IN. You will service a range of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, participate in extensive training, and contribute to system diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associates Degree or HVAC certification (preferred) and/or EPA Universal Technician Certification are advantageous.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service of equipment including inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality in commercial HVAC (chillers, rooftop units, boilers, etc.).
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent premature breakdowns or callbacks.
• Conduct intermediate/advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Lead apprentices and demonstrate proper procedures during rebuilds or retrofits.
• Document billing, inventory, and timekeeping as required and in a timely manner.
