Job summary

A Senior Estimator role in Austin, TX within the AIR Control Concepts family. This position leads the estimating department, provides take-offs for HVAC projects, and supports the sales group with company vision and values.

The ideal candidate has HVAC estimating experience, strong knowledge of bid strategy, and proficiency in pricing software and MS Office. Local travel and coordination with engineers may be required as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• HVAC estimating experience with take-offs.
• Minimum 4 years HVAC industry and/or estimating experience.
• Proficient with building construction and MEP trades.
• Ability to price large projects and use estimating software.
• Knowledge of bid strategy and coordination with sales.
• Proficient in MS Office; OST On-Screen Take Off experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership to estimating dept and take-offs for high-profile projects.
• Mentor others and share industry knowledge.
• Prepare accurate take-offs from plans and documents.
• Use pricing software to cost products.
• Assist with bid coordination in PJM software if requested.
• Review bid documents and administer addenda.
