Responsibilities include reviewing AutoCAD drawings, identifying value engineering opportunities, estimating projects and major buyouts, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and engineers to develop profitable bids.

Qualifications

• Local to Texas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Estimating.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or similar.
• Knowledge of Texas HVAC and Plumbing Codes, Title 24, and OSHPD.
• Extensive knowledge in Quickpen/Accubid, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Read AutoCAD Drawings.
• Look for value engineering opportunities.
• Estimating projects and major buyout of projects.
• Visit with clients, general contractors and engineers.
• Identify and communicate conflicts and errors in estimates.
• Develop effective, profitable winning bids for upcoming projects.
• Coordinate manpower and provide schedules, and train junior estimators.
• Build conceptual estimates, and review with subcontractors the estimates and quotes.
