Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Senior HVAC Estimator to lead the estimating process for HVAC and mechanical construction projects. You will evaluate drawings, specs, and project requirements to deliver accurate cost estimates, identify risks, and propose value-engineering options.

Close collaboration with preconstruction, project management, vendors, and subcontractors is essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) and 8–12+

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 8–12+ years of HVAC/mechanical estimating experience in construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of HVAC and mechanical cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects.
• Perform detailed material, labor, and equipment takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Develop conceptual and design-build budgets during early project phases.
• Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor pricing; support value engineering.
