Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an Equipment Commissioning Manager (EqCM) to lead startup, warranty support, and cross-functional coordination within the EqNA organization.

You will serve as the single point of contact for equipment contract scope and coordinate with the CRC for field labor requirements. The role reports to the Regional Service Manager for the first six months and then to the Branch Service Manager, with accountability to the HEOM and EqNA Operations Team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience or technical engineering/construction degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Writer.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Good conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to positively represent Johnson Controls to varying technical levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large and diverse number of projects with professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports EqNA sales during project estimates by determining service scope and feasibility.
• Provides quotes for service items outside of standard policy.
• Ensures trained technicians are available for identified equipment and coordinates with field managers.
• Attends meetings to review complex projects and PSA scope concerns.
• Coordinates with customers for scheduled work and changes.
