Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead building HVAC design from concept through construction documents. The role collaborates with architects, clients and other engineers on a variety of project types.

The ideal candidate has a PE license and 10+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, strong REVIT MEP skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining stringent code conformance and BIM standards.

Qualifications

• PE license required and 10+ years of HVAC design experience.
• Experience producing MEP design and construction documents in an A/E firm.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and LEED criteria.
• Proficiency in REVIT MEP and BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for building projects from concept through construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers to meet project goals.
• Prepare design documents in REVIT M&P per standards.
• Mentor and supervise mechanical staff and designers.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets and cost estimates.
• Provide technical, project management, and client management support.
• Ensure code conformance and quality control in designs.
• Seal documents in responsible charge and support construction administration.
