Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or MET) with 5–10 years HVAC experience.
• Experience with ASHRAE Standards (62.1, 90.1), Title 24, EPA Section 608, and OSHA.
• Flexible with deadlines, multi-tasking, and prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to present data and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; self-motivated and independent.

Responsibilities

• Develop a 5– to 10–year master plan for HVAC infrastructure modernization and cost analyses.
• Provide deep technical expertise to verify compliance with federal and state mandates.
• Ensure all work follows ASHRAE 62.1/90.1, Title 24, EPA regs, and OSHA standards.
• Provide technical requirements for equipment replacement and emergency repairs.
• Lead root‑cause analyses for major equipment failures and mitigation plans.
• Review engineering drawings and modeling; support replacement quotes.
• Identify tasks, deliverables, and project impacts with stakeholders.
• Forecast, plan, and track project performance with project managers.
• Interface with Government, contractors, and partners for updates.
• Prepare monthly, annual, and milestone review assessments.
