SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) in Hawthorne, CA. In this role, you will design and activate advanced manufacturing facilities, focusing on fluid systems such as HVAC, compressed air, and piping. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure successful production transitions.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in engineering. A competitive salary between $135,000 and $190,000 along with comprehensive benefits will be offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with fluid components such as pumps and valves.
• Hands-on experience with fluid handling systems.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Own fluid/HVAC components and perform CAD modeling.
• Conduct fluid analyses and ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet production requirements.
