Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino seeks an experienced HVAC technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex equipment including boilers, chillers, EMS, and pool systems. You will manage temperature controls, water treatment testing, and filter changes while operating company vehicles as needed.

Candidates must have extensive HVAC background, EMS proficiency, and hold a Class-2 Refrigerant License and a Nevada Driver’s License.

Qualifications

Five years HVAC experience required.
Five years’ experience with controls, line voltage, boilers, chillers, pumps, plumbing, water softeners, and water testing of closed/open loop systems required.
Must operate Energy Management Systems (EMS).
Must have Class‑2 Refrigerant License.
Read/control mechanical, electrical & plumbing blueprints preferred.
Must have or obtain a Nevada Driver’s License.
Current Certified Pool Operator license required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, fan coils, chillers, pumps, boilers, cooling towers and EMS.
Adjust and maintain internal temperatures.
Complete water treatment tests of closed-loop and open-loop systems.
Change filters on HVAC equipment, EMS and related components.
Drive and operate company vehicles.
Perform all duties as deemed necessary for department success.
Daily pool and spa readings, calibrations, and checks.
