Job summary

Flowtec Group, Alpharetta-based engineers, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design on commercial building projects. You will guide design work, review junior engineers, and coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams in Georgia's Southeast region.

A PE license is not required; strong HVAC design records and MEP consultancy background are highly desirable. Revit experience and client-facing responsibilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Senior level HVAC design experience in building services.
• MEP consultancy background strongly preferred.
• Georgia or Southeast experience preferred.
• Confident with Revit and load calculation software.
• Comfortable leading design work and working directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Leading HVAC system design from concept through to construction documents.
• Sizing and selecting air and water side systems, and producing load calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating with electrical, plumbing and architectural teams.
• Reviewing the work of junior engineers and supporting their development.
• Supporting contractors through submittals, RFIs and construction administration.
