Job summary

The engineer will guide projects from concept planning to construction documentation while collaborating with teams nationwide. Candidates should have 10+ years MEP experience, PE licensure or PE exam progress, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and BIM.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of related MEP experience.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM.
• Experience mentoring and training employees.
• Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts and interfacing with clients.
• PE License required, or passage of the PE exam with licensure pending.

We are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team. This position is available in any of the following Pond offices: Atlanta, GA, Kennesaw, GA, Huntsville, AL or Mobile, AL, Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte, NC and Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant MEP design engineering experience and a passion for growth, collaboration, and innovation. In this role, you will take a leadership position in designing mechanical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and piping. You will also mentor junior and mid-level MEP engineering professionals and support proposal efforts. Design projects will span multiple markets and geographies, offering opportunities to expand your knowledge and deepen your expertise in building systems design. We are looking for an independent self-starter who can efficiently move through various design stages, from concept planning to construction documentation.

Experience and Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
