Job summary

The role requires guiding a discipline with strong focus on design, analysis, and procurement support. You will develop and review HVAC specifications, perform calculations, and coordinate with PMs, vendors, and clients to meet scope, cost, and schedule baselines.

Qualifications

• Lead position on assigned projects providing guidance to engineers and designers.
• Engineering analyses and calculations for advanced complexity projects.
• Develop and review HVAC design criteria and specifications.
• Provide technical support for procurement, submittals and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, act as Area Lead and supervise engineers and designers.
• Analyze and independently recommend technical solutions per project requirements.
• Develop and review design specifications and criteria.
• Perform analyses and calculations; specify materials, equipment and systems for HVAC projects.
• Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, PM, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure work complies with Project Quality Plan and approved baselines.
• Develop estimates, schedules, and progress reports including effort-hour forecasting.
• Provide technical support for equipment procurement and subcontracting activities.
• Support construction administration including RFI responses and field changes.
