Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a seasoned HVAC sales professional based in the United States to grow fire sales through customer partnerships and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on Datacenter accounts, GTM strategies for HVAC products, and building lasting relationships with end-users and contractors.

Key duties include generating opportunities, hitting sales targets, forecasting, pipeline management, and delivering technical presentations to earn client buy-in.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in selling HVAC products.
• Experience handling Customer Accounts in Datacenter Industry.
• Strong understanding of GTM strategies for HVAC products for Data Center accounts.
• Knowledge of cooling plant and related accessories for Datacenter sites.
• Strong market connectivity with leading HVAC consultants & contractors.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales opportunities for the HVAC product range in the assigned region to DC Vertical Customer Accounts.
• Achieve the allotted AOP / Sales Target for the region.
• Provide accurate forecast for month, quarter and year.
• Manage & forecast the sales pipeline.
• Develop & deliver sales presentations explaining key technical aspects to benefit customers, consultants, PMC, channel partners & contractors.
• Negotiate offers and contracts including legal, finance, payment and other terms; seek approvals as per matrix.
• Think independently to suggest improvements for cost savings and profitability.
• Establish new and maintain existing relationships with end-users, consultants, contractors, architects, etc.
• Research the industry for competitive intelligence to anticipate changes/challenges impact on sales.
• Analyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to ensure full presentation of products and services.
