Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls Technician to support installation, programming, startup, and service of commercial HVAC and building automation systems in the Tulsa area. You will work with project managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver high-quality control solutions for diverse facilities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HVAC controls, low-voltage systems, troubleshooting, and controls integration.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience with HVAC controls, building automation, or low-voltage controls installation.
Experience with BAS/BMS, DDC controls, or controls integration.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, program, and service building automation and HVAC control systems.
Work with DDC controllers, low-voltage wiring, sensors, control panels, and networked systems.
Interpret blueprints, control drawings, and engineering specifications to support installation and startup activities.
Perform point-to-point checkout, system commissioning, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
Support integration of HVAC equipment, lighting controls, and related building systems.
Troubleshoot communication and controls issues involving BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based networks.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
Document service activity, project updates, and completed work accurately.
Maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company in a professional manner.
Assist with system upgrades, retrofits, and ongoing service support as needed.
