Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC and building automation systems across New Hampshire. The role welcomes candidates from residential or commercial backgrounds with training provided to expand into controls-based work.

Ideal candidates live in or near Concord, Manchester, or Nashua and are comfortable with on-site travel. The position offers light on-call duties and comprehensive benefits, including health

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in HVAC, mechanical, or related field
• Residential technicians welcome; commercial transition supported
• Experience with oil, gas, or AC systems (training available)
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and control schematics
• Comfort using diagnostic tools, software, and field instrumentation
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on Boilers, RTU’s, MAU’s, Water Heaters, Air Handlers, and HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and make reliable repairs
• Complete clear service documentation and reports
• Commission and support HVAC control systems and related software
• Review alarms, trends, and system data to optimize performance
• Assist with system configuration, updates, and troubleshooting
• Provide professional on-site and remote customer service
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and next steps clearly
• Build strong, long‑term customer relationships
