Job summary

Alliance Group Services, LLC is a New England-based HVAC and building automation contractor seeking a field-based Controls Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, and commission building automation systems at commercial and institutional facilities near West Lebanon, NH.

The role offers a company vehicle for experienced technicians, manufacturer training on Honeywell/Johnson Controls/Schneider Electric platforms, and opportunities for certifications.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or closely related controls technologies.
• Working knowledge of electrical controls, troubleshooting, and building automation communications, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong customer communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and safely navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and jobsites.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license; authorization to work in the U.S.; ability to satisfy required background, motor vehicle, and post-offer physical screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and commission building automation systems and controls equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, software, hardware, network communication, and HVAC controls issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system testing, database configuration, and performance adjustments.
• Document service work, communicate findings and repair recommendations, and provide customer guidance.
• Collaborate with project managers and technicians while maintaining safe, organized work practices.
