Job summary

SST Direct is seeking an experienced HVAC Chiller Service Technician in Trumbull, CT. The ideal candidate will hold a Connecticut D2 or S2 license and have extensive experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment, including air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers and boilers.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and keeping accurate service records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.
• Strong mechanical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers.
• Service compressors, purge units, cooling towers, pumps, motors, valves, boilers, and large equipment.
• Perform boiler inspections and preventative maintenance per CT codes.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain licenses and certifications.
• Maintain accurate service records and logs.
• Be available for overtime, emergencies, and some weekend work.
