Job summary

Fox Television Stations is seeking an HVAC Engineer to operate, maintain and repair complex building systems in a large facility. The role requires certification as an Operating Engineer with FDNY COF Q-01/99 and CFC licenses, plus 3–5 years in HVAC plant operations and plumbing.

You will coordinate with management, supervise external contractors and support safety and compliance programs. We offer union-scale pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) plan and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Hands-on operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
• Experience with water treatment for open/closed loops and house water systems.
• Experience coordinating with management on issues and prioritizing work orders.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including swing shifts and overnight.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair HVAC and related systems.
• Supervise vendors for large equipment repairs.
• Communicate issues to management and prioritize work orders.
• Work swing shifts including 3pm–11pm and 11pm–7am.
