Job summary

Citrine LLC is seeking a Mechanical Technician – HVAC/Boiler/Chiller to support operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical mechanical building systems at client sites.

The role involves field travel between project sites, with potential in-office/hybrid options for nearby Lakewood or Grand Junction offices. Candidates should have 5+ years' experience in commercial/industrial HVAC, boilers, and chillers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years servicing HVAC, boiler, and chiller systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC, boiler, controls, or mechanical training preferred; equivalent field experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of hydronic heating, steam/hot water boilers, chillers, pumps, valves, piping, burners, and controls.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and test equipment to evaluate performance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment docs, control diagrams, and specs.
• Experience with building automation systems and commissioning activities is a plus.
• Willingness to travel between client sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and support repair activities for HVAC and mechanical systems at client sites.
• Evaluate boilers, chillers, central plant equipment, and four‑pipe systems.
• Perform testing, commissioning, retro‑commissioning, and performance optimization.
• Support development and execution of commissioning procedures and testing activities.
• Provide technical guidance to installation and junior technicians.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate field documentation and reports.
• Adhere to safety procedures in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and industrial environments.
