Job summary

Lineforce Pty Ltd seeks skilled linemen for high-voltage transmission projects. The role requires extensive experience in tower assembly, conductor stringing, and OPGW work, with familiarity in multiple voltage levels from 132 kV to 765 kV. Strong English skills are essential, with IELTS 5.0 or equivalent preferred unless exempted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in high-voltage overhead transmission construction.
• Experience in tower assembly and erection.
• Experience in conductor stringing, sagging, clipping, earthwire and/or OPGW.
• Experience on 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV, 500 kV or 765 kV projects preferred.
• Lineman / Senior Lineman / recognised electrical trade qualification preferred.
• ITI Electrician/Wireman candidates considered where strong transmission experience can be demonstrated.
• Able to read tower/construction drawings and follow safety procedures.
• Functional workplace English required.
• IELTS General Training 5.0 in each component or equivalent preferred unless exemption applies.
