Leidos Inc is looking for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to work in a dynamic team focused on solving complex electric transmission challenges. The role involves high voltage and extra high voltage systems design, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and collaborating with utility professionals.

This position is remote, but candidates must reside in Michigan. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience in electric utility systems is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the design of electric utility transmission systems.
• Ability to develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
• Leadership experience and supervising others is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an engineer on electric transmission line design projects.
• Perform engineering analyses and prepare bidding documents.
• Work with a multi-person Leidos team and interface with clients.
