Job summary

Dewberry Engineers Incorporated is seeking a Senior Physical Electrical Engineer to lead the design of medium and high voltage substations. You will mentor a team, oversee drawings, and ensure safety and constructability across complex projects for utilities and government clients.

The role emphasizes talent development, design standardization, and advancing Dewberry's substation capabilities, with experience in protection and control systems preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 20+ years in medium/high voltage substation design.
• PE license required.
• Experience with NEC/NFPA Life Safety codes and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to develop and capture new business.
• Coordinate with Energy PMO leadership and managers.
• Develop responses to proposals and qualifications, including cost proposals.
• Serve as Project Manager for complex projects.
• Oversee multi-discipline teams and ensure quality and schedule.
