The Senior Human Resource Specialist is responsible for managing the employee life cycle (i.e., recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and firing employees) and administering employee benefits.

• Provides advice on controversial, precedent-setting, and unusually difficult classification matters.
• Provides advice on interpretation of policies and regulations.
• Assist in developing briefing and update materials for senior Army leadership
• Assist the preparation and submission of recruitment packages for DASA DEC vacancies, tracking hiring actions from initiation through onboarding of new personnel.
• Assist in the preparation, submission and tracking of awards and other personnel actions for DASA DEC government personnel as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree
