Job summary

Ferretti Search is seeking an HR Generalist to join a growing organization in Charlotte, NC. This on-site, full-time role centers on HRIS ownership, data integrity, reporting, and process improvements across HR operations.

You will touch onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and HR reporting, collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT. Strong HRIS experience with systems like Workday or UKG is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience with broad exposure to HR operations.
• Hands-on experience administering and optimizing an HRIS.
• Analytical with HR data reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HRIS data integrity, reporting, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and self-service.
• Build HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.

• Manage employee data changes across HR, payroll, benefits, and systems.

What will your day look like?

• Serve as a primary resource for the HRIS, including system maintenance, data integrity, reporting, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve HR processes, workflows, and employee self-service capabilities.
• Build and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics for HR and business leadership.
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations.
• Manage employee data changes and ensure information is accurate across HR, payroll, benefits, and other systems.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT on system integrations, upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
• Support compliance reporting, audits, and HR documentation.

Who are you?

• HR Generalist: 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with broad exposure to HR operations.
• HRIS Expertise Required: Strong hands-on experience administering and optimizing an HRIS such as Workday, UKG, ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, Dayforce, or a similar platform.
• Systems Mindset: Experience with implementations, system upgrades, integrations, testing, reporting, or process automation strongly preferred.
• Analytical: Comfortable working with HR data, building reports, identifying discrepancies, and translating information into actionable insights.
• Hands-On: Willing to handle traditional HR Generalist responsibilities while taking significant ownership of HR systems and processes.
