We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to support our JSI team in Payson, Utah facility.

Position Overview:

The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for delivering operational HR support to two or more sites or one very large site. Essential Job Functions:
HR Operations & Administration

  • Enter new hires into the HRIS and related systems, maintaining accurate employee records and completing all required documentation in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Process and audit employee timecards for their appointed sites, ensuring accuracy, compliance with wage and hour laws, and timely submission for payroll (without performing payroll processing).
  • Support open enrollment activities by assisting employees with benefit-related questions, form completion, and system navigation (without managing or administering benefit plans).

  • Monitor and administer FMLA, LOA, and STD processes, including tracking eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work coordination while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation statutes, and applicable state regulations).
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide light recruiting support by assisting with candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and scheduling in partnership with site leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal talent partners, external recruiters, and temporary staffing agencies to fulfill short-term and long-term hiring needs at appointed sites
Employee Support & Relations
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, conducting initial intake, investigations, and follow-up in partnership with the Regional HR Director.

  • Support site leadership with HR projects, change management, and cross-functional initiatives that drive operational efficiency and organizational growth.
Training & Internal Partnership
  • Assist in the development and delivery of HR-related training for employees and managers on topics such as leave policies, timekeeping, workplace conduct, and compliance.
  • Partner with the Regional HR Director and cross-functional teams to ensure HR programs align with business needs and company objectives
