Job summary

ConnectPoint Search Group is seeking a hands-on Senior HR Generalist to support leaders and employees across multiple California locations, including field-based partners. This role offers a competitive pay range and a company vehicle.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years HR experience, deep knowledge of California employment laws, and a proven ability to advise leaders, handle investigations, and drive engagement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent exp.
• 5+ years of HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws.
• Experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to manage employee relations, including performance, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws (wage & hour, CFRA, FMLA, PDL, FEHA, etc.).
• Support recruiting and onboarding to deliver a strong new hire experience.
• Guide managers on performance management and development strategies.
• Assist with leave of absence, benefits, and accommodations.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and retention.
• Lead and support training, change management, and HR initiatives.
• Travel between locations to provide on-site HR support.

Compensation:

The Salary range for this position is from $90k-100K, along with a company vehicle
