Job summary

Charter Communications, operating as Spectrum, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to shape HR strategy and support leaders in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to managers and employees on human resources issues and employment law.
• Develop programs and initiatives to meet your team's needs.
• Coordinate solutions with senior HR teammates and implement plans to address long-term human resource needs and trends.
• Perform advanced employee relations functions including counseling, dispute resolution, managing performance issues, reviewing termination requests and conducting exit interviews.
• Conduct complex and sensitive employee investigations, manage workers compensation reporting and safety regulation processes.
• Coordinate administration of leave of absence programs, transitional work and accommodations, conduct benefits open enrollment and employee and supervisor trainings.
• Ensure timely and accurate HRIS and payroll entries, perform audit and compliance functions and maintain employee records.
• Demonstrated project management skills, business acumen, and analytical skills.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience

Preferred Qualifications

Education

• Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred

• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company standards

The base pay for this position generally is between $68,300.00 and $109,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
