We’re a small, ambitious team that moves fast, takes ownership, and builds without waiting for a playbook.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced HRBP to help build and run a thoughtful, efficient employee experience at OpenArt.

You’ll own core People operations across the employee lifecycle and help improve the systems, processes, and programs that support our global team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who combines strong execution with sound judgment and enjoys building simple, scalable processes in a fast‑moving environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Own core People operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, employee changes, and HR systems.

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on day‑to‑day People matters.

  • Maintain and improve People policies and processes, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

  • Support company‑wide People programs, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, and employee experience initiatives.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and other teams on cross‑functional People needs.

  • Continuously improve and automate People processes to support a growing global organization.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or a related HR role, ideally in a fast‑paced company.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, with hands‑on experience navigating California employment requirements and practices.

  • Experience supporting global teams across multiple locations, including both onsite and remote employees.

  • Strong understanding of core HR operations and the employee lifecycle, including HRIS, benefits, leaves, onboarding/offboarding, and People policies.

  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive employee matters.

  • Strong communicator who can build trust with both employees and managers.

  • Independent, practical, and solutions‑oriented, with the ability to build structure and scalable processes in a fast‑moving environment.

Why Join OpenArt
  • Help shape the People function at an important stage of the company’s growth.

  • Take meaningful ownership and have direct impact on how we build and support our team.

  • Work with a collaborative, global team at the forefront of AI and creative technology.

  • Help build the organizational foundation for a rapidly growing company.

Compensation
  • Base: $105,000 - $155,000

  • Target bonus starts at 15%
