Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a creative and passionate Senior HR Business Partner to join our recently established office in Boston, where you’ll help build the culture of our new studio supporting our teams throughout the US and Canada. Responsibilities:
- Build strong and supportive relationships with Studio Leadership (Managers, Directors, VPs) and internal teams to develop creative solutions supporting cross-collaboration and studio growth.
- Analyze and assess team development needs and lead training workshops based on company goals and priorities.
- Provide guidance on employee engagement, organizational design, talent and performance development, and compensation equity for the US and Canada.
- Drive process optimization for the studio’s employee experience (onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, organizational changes, etc.) and help build our North American brand.
- Engage and collaborate in global HR initiatives across multiple regions and locations to foster close collaboration with our European HR team.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for key roles during peak hiring periods as needed.
- Oversee the full employment lifecycle for remote and onsite hires in the US and Canada.
- Stay updated on HR laws and regulations for the US and Canada.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree or HR certification like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in companies with at least 300+ employees.
- Professional experience in the gaming or entertainment industry is highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in conducting behavioral interviews with hands-on experience with diverse selection processes.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, federal and state employment laws, and regulations across the US and Canada.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
- Innovative thinker with a steadfast commitment to applying best practices.
- Adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
- Experience working with HRIS systems including ADP HR/Payroll Software.
Nice to Have:
- Passion for video games or being a gamer yourself!
- Solid understanding of the North American game development market.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth through industry certifications like PHR or similar.
- Experience working in international settings and collaborating across different locations, time zones, and cultural backgrounds.
