Job summary

Uline is seeking a Senior Human Resources Analyst to shape strategic workforce initiatives through advanced analytics and reporting. You will transform complex HR data into actionable recommendations and guide talent decisions across our North American organization using Excel, SQL, Workday and Power BI.

You will partner with HR and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights, lead analytics projects, and translate findings into leadership-ready summaries for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience analyzing workforce, HR or business data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL; Python or database knowledge a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with HRIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HR data to identify workforce trends, root causes and opportunities to strengthen recruiting, retention and planning.
• Develop and enhance reporting tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, Workday and Power BI to deliver workforce insights.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to solve complex workforce challenges with data-driven recommendations.
• Lead analytics projects, identifying opportunities to improve reporting, data quality and processes.
• Translate insights into clear summaries and presentations for leadership to inform decisions.

Position Responsibilities

• Analyze HR data to identify workforce trends, root causes and opportunities that strengthen recruiting, retention and workforce planning.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. A focus in Human Resources, Business Analytics or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience analyzing workforce, HR or business data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL. Knowledge in Python or database management is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Human Resource Information Systems preferred.
