Job summary

ARCCA, LLC, an ATS Family of Companies, seeks a Senior Human Factors Engineer in Penns Park, PA to analyze and reconstruct injury-producing incidents and determine contributing factors. You will collaborate with engineers and scientists to deliver clear, defensible work and strengthen client relationships.

The role leads investigations, applies ergonomic principles, conducts biomechanical analyses, and prepares reports and testimony for depositions and trials. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Human Factors, Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in human factors, ergonomics, biomechanics, or safety engineering.
• Strong foundation in injury biomechanics, human performance, ergonomics, and safety analysis.
• Experience with accident reconstruction, workplace injury investigation, and safety evaluations.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D motion analysis tools; willingness to learn more modeling software.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with client-facing capability.
• CHFP or equivalent credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic investigations related to vehicle crashes, slips, trips, falls, and other incidents to assess factors.
• Lead investigations of construction and industrial accidents using safety principles and biomechanics.
• Evaluate workplace incidents including PPE, fall protection, ladders and injury mechanisms.
• Apply ergonomic principles to identify risk factors and recommend prevention strategies.
• Prepare clear reports and provide expert testimony during depositions and trials when required.
• Present technical materials to clients and at professional conferences.
