Job summary

ARCCA, LLC, an ATS family company, seeks a Biomechanist Expert (Ph.D. level) in Penns Park, PA to lead forensic analysis of injury mechanisms. You will reconstruct incidents using advanced biomechanics, prepare technical reports, and contribute to depositions and litigation support.

Ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical or Biomechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong motion-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical or Biomechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong foundation in analyzing occupant motion, human anatomy, impact effects, and inertial forces related to occupant injury preferred.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D computer analysis programs for object motion, with a willingness to learn additional tools for vehicle and occupant kinematic analysis.
• Ability to participate in depositions and provide expert testimony as needed.
• Interest in working within a litigation environment, including evaluating cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations to gather and analyze vehicle crash, slip/trip and fall, or mechanical failure data and related impact on the human body.
• Calculate principal directions of force and changes in velocity during a crash event and determine force required to cause injuries.
• Conduct or assist with static and dynamic tests.
• Prepare clear, well-documented reports and support testimony during depositions and trials.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and at conferences.
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge through continuing education and publications.
• Other duties as assigned.
