Job summary

ARCCA, LLC, a growing national forensic, scientific, and engineering firm, seeks a Senior Human Factors Engineer in Penns Park, PA to conduct forensic investigations, apply ergonomics, and lead biomechanical analyses. The role is based in Penns Park with involvement in expert testimony and client outreach.

The position requires a PhD and 3–5 years of experience in human factors, ergonomics, biomechanics, or safety engineering, with CHFP preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a closely related field (Human Factors, Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in human factors, ergonomics, biomechanics, or safety engineering.
• Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP) or equivalent credential preferred; strong documentation and reporting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic investigations related to vehicle crashes, slips, trips, falls, and other incidents to assess human, environmental, and design factors.
• Lead investigations of construction and industrial accidents based on safety principles, human factors, design, and biomechanics.
• Evaluate workplace incidents, PPE, fall protection, ladders, and injury mechanisms; apply ergonomic principles to identify risk factors.
• Prepare clear reports for technical and non-technical audiences and provide expert testimony during depositions and trials when required.
• Present technical materials to clients and at professional conferences and maintain expertise through ongoing education.
