Job summary

Fairfax County Government seeks a dynamic program supervisor to lead school-based and community-center activities across the CRCC division. You will coordinate services at Oak View Elementary and other sites, ensuring inclusive, accessible youth and family programs.

The role emphasizes supervision, community outreach, and collaboration with staff, schools, and community partners to deliver a broad range of educational, recreational, and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in programs for children/youth.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of appointment.
• Food Handler's certification required within 90 days of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of full-time, temporary, part-time, seasonal staff and volunteers.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate programs, activities, and events to promote inclusive prosperity.
• Ensure programming aligns with county goals and trauma-informed practices.
• Manage daily facility operations and safety.
• Participate in hiring, training, and scheduling of staff.
• Prepare and submit required financial, data, and program reports.
