Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks a Senior Maintenance Specialist (Hull) to support overhaul, repair, and maintenance planning for naval hull systems aboard US Navy carriers and surface ships aboard ship in San Diego, CA.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in hull and damage control equipment, HM&E, and C4I systems, with a proven track record in supervision and technical instruction, and holds a U.S. citizenship with a secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Twelve years' experience in operation, repair, and maintenance of naval hull and damage control equipment.
• Six years in a supervisory role over maintenance personnel.
• Five years' experience with shipboard hull and damage control equipment.
• One year as a technical instructor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and planning for overhaul/repair of shipboard equipment and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and logistical support for hull and HM&E maintenance.
• Deliver training to Sailors to enable on-deployment maintenance.
• Work on US Navy aircraft carriers and surface ships in San Diego.
