Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Product Applications Engineer for High Speed Interconnect Products. You will support Tier 1 customers, become the expert on Broadcom's high-speed PHY architectures, and assist in pre-sales activities to secure design wins.

Responsibilities include architecture questions, design reviews, training, and collaboration with Hardware/Software Engineering, Sales, and Field Applications Engineering. Some travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or post-graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science).
• Minimum of 8 to 15+ years in relevant fields with a strong track record of success.
• Direct customer interaction and involvement; Pre-sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support architecture and hardware questions for customers.
• Pre-sales and post-sales support via email, phone, and customer visits.
• Documentation, product definition and roadmap contributions.
• Analyze customer architecture and requirements; perform board bring-up and debugging.
