Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Specialist to implement HSE policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safety culture.

You will handle incident investigations, inspections, and alignment with federal, state, and local regulations and KBR policies. The role involves stakeholder engagement, data analysis of HSE statistics, and development of training programs to promote zero-harm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field; 5+ years HSE experience.
• Advanced certification as safety specialist or practitioner (BCSP/ABIH/NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Knowledge of AR 385-10 and OSHA CFRs 29 CFR 1904, 1910, 1926.
• Fluent English; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license; ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team to achieve HSE initiative objectives with risk-based controls and stakeholders.
• Lead and deliver training for zero-harm and safety culture programs.
• Develop and maintain reporting for key HSE information across locations.
• Identify trends in data and recommend corrective actions.
• Track KPIs for each location and office; audit with corrective actions for internal and subcontractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
