Job summary

KBR is seeking a Project Inspector to support its Inspection Department. The role emphasizes quality assurance, HSE compliance, and coordination with multiple project teams. The candidate should have an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and 7+ years of experience.
• Practical knowledge of national and international manufacturing codes and specifications (ASME, ASTM, API).
• Ability to implement and demonstrate commitment to HSE and quality objectives.
• Ability to coordinate efforts of inspection personnel and maintain effective working relations.
• Willingness to travel and fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the inspection function to meet health, safety, environment, quality, cost, schedule and ethics objectives.
• Ensure Quality Management principles are applied within project procurement activities.
• Assist Project Lead Inspector in planning and coordinating the inspection/QC team.
• Monitor and participate in inspection functions and coordinate with project teams.
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and inspection agencies.
• Participate in Supplier Fact Sheet maintenance and safety reporting.
• Contribute to setting performance standards and supplier evaluations.
• Assist in performance assessments of field agencies and personnel.
• Recommend inspection and expediting strategies for proposals and costs.
• Undertake shop surveys and approve proposed suppliers.
• Support implementation of Quality Management Systems on the project.
